Issues Related to Browser Test
Incompatible Browser
Your
Internet browser is not compatible with the minimum requirements to view
Tegrity sessions. Please update your system with one of the browsers listed
below:
Internet Explorer
– download from http://www.microsoft.com/
Netscape
Navigator – download from http://www.netscape.com
Java not enabled
1) Please enable
Java support for your browser:
Netscape:
Check the ‘Enable
Java’ option in the Edit > Preferences > Advanced page.
Internet
Explorer:
If Sun
Virtual Machine is used: check the ‘Use Java…’ option (under ‘Java(Sun)’ ) in
the Tools > Options > Advanced page.
If
Microsoft Virtual Machine is used: make sure that the Microsoft VM Java Permissions
are set to medium in Tools > Options > Security > Custom Level > Security
Settings page (this setting depends on your current internet zone).
2) Please
make sure that you are not a restricted user on your Windows system.
Outdated Java Virtual Machine ,or
No Java Virtual Machine
No installation of Java Virtual was detected. In order to view Tegrity sessions you need either Microsoft Java Virtual Machine or Sun Java Virtual Machine.
MS Java VM – Download from http://sessions.tegrityonline.com/resources/msjavx86.exe .
Sun Java VM – Download from www.sun.com .
No Windows Media Player
Windows
Media Player was not detected.
Download it
from http://www.microsoft.com/.
No QuickTime plug-in (Netscape browsers only)
QuickTIme
plug-in was not detected.
Download the QuickTime Player from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ .
Incompatible Display Settings
Please
verify that your display settings meet the minimum requirements.
You may change these settings trough the Control Panel > Display > Settings.
